Hluru kalimba has exquisite workmanship with the most interesting designs. This 17 Key Acacia Maple Hluru Kalimba has a unique mixed wood design with beautiful sunflower carving. The wood used in this model is high-quality solid Acacia and Maple.
In addition, keys are made of ore steel tines that provide a bright and clear timbre. The brand Hluru's key touch is a bit softer compared to other brands. Therefore this kalimba is more comfortable to play and suitable for beginners. Moreover, the mix of acacia and maple produces a rich texture tone and long-lasting sound.

So easy to learn, there's lots of free music on the internet. Very relaxing, to play. And I noticed my scrubs were matching when I was learning a song before I went to work!
I love this kalimba! It's truly so relaxing to play and I only regret that I hadn't learned of these sooner! As a mother of 4, I wish I could have bought these for my children to play with when they were younger. Regardless, this kalimba is really beautiful, both in appearance and sound, and I especially love the sunflower engravings. 5 stars!😊

I originally set our to purchase a "mini" kalimba however following advice from Tiffany I decided to change to the 17 key Acacia Hluru Classic. I am pleased I accepted Tiffany's advice. She really knows what she I talking about and I couldn't be happier with my choice along with the hard case to protect the instrument. It's a relatively easy instrument to play and after a couple of weeks I am playing tunes such as the theme from The Godfather, Sounds of Silence, Ode to Joy, Can't help falling in love with. Still room for improvement but you can definitely recognize the tune but not good enough for an audience ..... yet. Everyone should play a kalimba. 😃👌

This instrument to hold is so beautiful, the sound of it is very calming, which is actually what i was hoping. Great sound and does not hurt my thumbs. Great Service I was impressed with the sound of this Kalimba when listening to it on Little Kalimba Shop's website. It does sound just as good when I play it. I love that it is engraved with the notes so no need for stickers Also I can play it for a long time and never feel pain in my thumbs. It is a great instrument to learn.
